Author Talk: Fergus Butler-Gallie
St. Mary’s Church, Church Street, Charlbury
Tuesday 2nd September 2025, 6.30pm
In Twelve Churches, the Revd. Fergus Butler-Gallie (vicar of Charlbury) embarks on a passionate journey through time and place, exploring the rich history and future of Christianity. From a Baptist church in the segregated American South to a secluded monastery in Greece, he weaves together a tapestry of diverse human stories from twelve churches around the globe. This quest reveals Christianity’s complex relationship with faith, beauty, sex, and power, ultimately showing how the religion’s story is inextricably linked to the story of our modern world.
Jaffé & Neale are the booksellers at this free-to-attend event. Fergus Butler-Gallie will be signing books following his author talk.
