Join author Nicola Baker for a special half-term event, perfect for young animal lovers and curious minds. Explore the real-life Whistledown Farm, the inspiration for her book series. You’ll get to meet the animals from her stories, learn how the seasons shape farm life, and discover why writing a story is just like baking a cake.
This event is packed with fun farm facts, storytelling, and creative tips for budding young authors. Tickets are £12.50 per child, to include the session & picnic lunch afterwards, and are available through FarmED’s website.

Book Launch: John Lewis-Stempel’s Night Life

Join us at FarmED for the launch of John Lewis-Stempel’s new book, Night Life – a captivating follow-up to Nightwalking – where he explores Britain’s wild landscapes after dark. Discover how our senses reorder in the absence of light, making us more attuned to the natural world and its hidden wonders.
John will be in conversation with FarmED co-founder, Ian Wilkinson, followed by an audience Q&A. Tickets are £15 each (includes glass of fizz), available from FarmED.

Literary Lunch with Mark Billingham

Join us at The Theatre Chipping Norton for a special Literary Lunch with renowned crime writer, Mark Billingham. It’s an opportunity to hear from the ‘master of crime’ himself as he talks to Patrick Neale about the inspiration behind his work and celebrates a remarkable milestone: the release of his 25th novel, What The Night Brings.
