Jaffé & Neale is the bookshop supporting the annual FarmEd Farm & Food Literature Festival. This is a celebration of words, stories and experiences from the wonderful world of agroecology, regenerative farming and sustainable food. 2024’s festival will see a great line-up of guest speakers. Thriller writer, John Connolly, will be dropping in to the shop on the morning of 15th May to sign copies of his books, including The Instruments of Darkness, his latest Charlie Parker novel. Do come along to meet John.

The beautiful Jacobean Asthall Manor near Burford is the setting for an author talk and book signing of Caroline Lucas’s Another England which Jaffé & Neale is supporting. Caroline is MP for Brighton Pavilion and the Green Party’s only MP. In this prescient book, she delves into our literary heritage to explore what it can teach us about the most pressing issues of our time and she sketches out an alternative Englishness: one that we can all embrace to build a greener, fairer future.
