Meet Prue Leith on Bookshop Day: Saturday 12th October, 10.30am
Prue will be dropping into Jaffé & Neale to sign copies of her new book, Life is Too Short to Stuff a Mushroom
Welcome
A lifetime working in book selling gave us not only a passion for books, but an insight into what worked and what didn’t. We talked for a long time about starting our own business, but in fact when it eventually happened, it was all very fast. Jaffé & Neale Bookshop launched in 2001 in West Street, Chipping Norton. Our focus from the start was on good books and good customer service, and that hasn’t changed.
In 2006 we bought our current premises in the centre of Chipping Norton. The shop was big enough to realise the second part of our vision: a place where people could meet and chat, surrounded by wonderful books.
There is little better than a good book, but great coffee and amazing cakes come pretty close. We are perfectly placed in the Market Square to watch the comings and goings of Chipping Norton, so whether you fancy a cappuccino or an espresso, mint tea or good old fashioned builder’s, grab a table and watch the world go by.
We also have a wide range of gifts, cards and stationery that have been carefully selected from a variety of beautiful brands.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated team who are all as passionate about books, and about Jaffé & Neale, as we are, and there is nothing more exciting to us than talking to a customer about what to read next.
If you haven’t visited us yet, and you’re planning a trip to the Cotswolds, do come in and say hello. We’d love to see you.
